Zarazúa, es medallista olímpico en 1968 y ganador de series muy importantes en la historia del tenis mexicano, una de ellas sobre Estados Unidos en calidad de visitante en 1975.

Fue monarca del Campeonato Nacional y fue parte de la NCAA.
