La tenista Victoria Rodríguez le ganó en cerrada batalla de tres sets a la jovencida rusa de 17 años Natalia Vikhlyantseva y así avanzar a la gran final de un torneo ITF de 25 mil dólares que se juega en el Yucatan Country Club, cuyo profesional es Daniel Langre. Los parciales fueron 6-7, 6-2, 6-1.

De acuerdo al marcador la rusa no aguantó el ritmo en el segundo y tercer set . Para la mexicana el triunfo le ayudará a repuntar en el ranking y así acosar a Ana Sánchez por la supremacía nacional.
