La italiana Sara Errani (1), francamente fue muy superior a la española Carla Suárez Navarro (2) y la venció por 6-0, 6-4.

En lo que se instalaba la gente en el estadio, Sara le dio una paliza a Carla en el primer set, pues la trajo movida por toda la cancha.

Carla, sacó la garra y dio más pelea en el segundo, pero no le alcanzó.

En el dobles las españoles Lourdes Domínguez Lino y Arantxa Parra Santonja vencieron a las colombianas Catalina Castaño y Mariana Duque-Mariño por 6-4, 7-6 (1).
