El equipo Copa Federación de México enfrentará a Paraguay y Venezuela en la fase inicial al estilo round robin de la eliminatoria del Grupo I de la Zona Americana.

La eliminatoria luce complicada para la escuadra mexicana porque en este momento las campeonas de Venezuela Adriana Pérez (194-WTA) y Paraguay Verónica Cespde (189) han tenido buenos resultados, pero en la cancha la historia será muy diferente.

El capitán Leonardo Lavalle Moreno, tiene como titulares a Ana Sofía Sánchez y Marcela Zacarías, quien al momento han sido las más experimentadas. Será interesante ver qué sucede con Ximena Hermoso.
