La puertorriqueña Mónica Puig está más que puesta para competir en los Juegos Centroamericanos en Veracruz, justa que pondrá en juego siete medallas de oro, dado que este año se suma la Copa de Naciones.

Puig, actualmente es la tenista latinoamericana más exitosa y en consecuencia será la favorita de la justa y la rival a vencer para las tenistas mexicanas.

Las batallas que protagonizarán 88 raquetistas (48 varones y 32 damas), se realizarán en Las Palmas Racquet Club, sobre cancha dura y bajo la supervisión de Agustín Aguilar.
