La Federación Internacional de Tenis (FIT), oficializó los nombramientos de Leo Lavalle en la serie de Copa Davis que protagonizará México en contra de Bolivia del seis al ocho de marzo en Mérida, Yucatán. 

Esta vez Lavalle no se quito meter en problemas  escogió a un equipo de jugadores experimentados para enfrentar a los bolivianos en clima caliente, cancha dura y nivel del mar.
