Fue la española Paula Badosa Gibert  [8], la causante de la eliminación de la mexicana Marcela Zacaría en la semifinal del ITF francés Denain, dotado con 25 mil dólares. El score final fue 6-1, 7-6 (7).

En la otra semifinal la francesa Irina Ramialison le ganó a la belga Elise Mertens por 6-4, 6-1.

La actuación de Marcela en Europa ha sido bastante buena porque aprovecho la celebración de Wimbledon para hacerse de más puntos en condiciones complicadas.
