Sophie Cortina, se inició en el tenis en el Club Reforma y France, representó a México en el campeonato mundial 2010 en El Yaqui.

Cortina, ha trabajado para cadenas internacionales de TV y este año es la gran ausente en la pantalla deportiva chica.

En 1993 protagonizó la final del Campeonato Nacional contra Angélica Gavaldón en el Contry de Guadalajara.
